It’s no longer news that the movie “THE TRAIN” which is an epic biography on the early life of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye will be on YouTube from the 3rd of May, 2020 for everyone to watch, enjoy and most importantly learn.
The anticipation regarding the movie is high, and we all can’t wait for it to be released, not just because we all like to watch movies but because of the great impact the movies of Evangelist Mike Bamiloye has on Millions of lives out there. However, THEGOSPEL.NG will like to throw pointers (spoilers) on what we should all expect as the movie is launched.
Evangelist Mike Bamiloye is a Nigerian film actor, Dramatist, Director of Mount Zion Film Productions, the founder and president of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, and Chairman Board of Trustees of All Nigerian Conference of Evangelical Ministers (An association comprising of drama ministers in Nigeria).
Born on the April 13th, 1960 at Ilesha town in Osun State Nigeria, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye (EMB) was gifted to the family of Samuel Adejuyigbe Bamiloye and Grace Ebun Bamiloye a polygamous family in Ijebu-Jesha, hometown to both parents. His mother was the first wife and also a Christian. His Educational background was an interesting one seeing that he went to over five different schools for Primary Education, for reasons not yet known to us. He graduated from the College of Education, Ilesha, Osun State, got trained and began his career at Divisional Teachers’ Training College, and that was where his drama ministry stated.
One interesting thing to note is that, just like many other Nigerian children, EMB also had a rough start. During one of his interviews where he talked about his childhood days, he said he started picking pockets since he was seven (7yrs Old) on the streets of Ilesha, he also had to hawk for a living and do some menial jobs, as God would have it, he met with Christ around 1983, and when the passion for God came upon him he joined the school fellowship in his secondary school, took the zeal to the College of Education Ilesha, Osun State where he joined the drama unit of the Christian fellowship, he assisted with writing of scripts and also in co-ordination.
Mount Zion Faith Ministries International which was born out of burden and vision in the hearts of EMB and Evangelist Gloria Bamiloye (formerly Gloria Obembe). The Ministry was founded on Sunday, August 5th, 1985, that was also the very day Gloria Obembe accepted the proposal to marry EMB, many of the founding ministers were students from the same school. EMB had been disappointed by many others ladies whom he thought were the will of God, a lady even kept him waiting for three years before she said No.

As at that time Evangelist Mike Bamiloye had nothing but a single room filled with all manner of Spiritual books from Kenneth E. Hagin, T.L. Osborne, Oswald J. Smith, etc. which was one of the things that made Minister Gloria very excited when she got to his apartment for the very first time, because she had been longing to read some of them, though her parents fought against her marrying him, even his sister told Gloria not to marry someone without a future, because most people back then did not understand what Drama Ministry was because it was the first of its kind but she stood by him.
The Ministry was founded in 1985, and after praying for a whole year. The Ministry officially began in 1986 with its first staged drama ministration “HELL IN CONFERENCE” which was a success, but without a mentor in that line of ministry, they found it difficult as regards who to learn from, so they followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Another challenge they had at the beginning was acceptance, many churches weren’t accepting them as they travelled from one place to anoother but it didn’t take long when people began to welcome them with open arms because of the results they saw. Just like I mentioned earlier, before them there was nothing like a real drama ministry so individual parents of the cast were finding it difficult to release their children to something they did not have prior knowledge about.
AGBRA NLA which was one of the most outstanding movie that brought them to lime light. It was a little bit challenging translating it to the English version “THE UNLIMITED POWER” because it was originally produced in Yoruba.
Sincerely, there are lot of things to learn from this movie, knowing fully well that every successful man has a story to tell, which is able to get the next generation on their toes, at the beginning the Lord taught them how to be in constant communication with Him, finding time in His presence, praying consistently asking Him for the spirit of meekness and humility because the type of ministry he was being called into was also a part of the secular world and usually goes with fame, pride and the love of money which are major killers of the ministry. The Lord also taught them about giving, making sacrifices and many other tangible things.
In conclusion, brethren I tell you the basic truth there is so much to learn from this movie as a believer, a minister, a pastor, a child, an adult etc. I have just shown you few of the things I got from my research but who can know a father more than his child, just as the scripture tells us that Our Lord Jesus Christ came to reveal to us the perfect image of the Father. So I encourage us get to get your data bundles ready because the movie is about two hours long but we all know that the data would be worth it at the end of the day.
