There are many pleasant surprises that can make a whole lot of difference in your relationship.

Write your Spouse a love poem
Did I just hear you say you can’t write poems? It doesn’t have to be rhythmic, put words together. Let them be simple words that portray how you feel about your spouse.
I referred you to the book of Song of Solomon yesterday so you can see how King Solomon describes his love for his lover. His lines will inspire you.
Don’t use flattery, just the truth. If you can afford it, you can pay a poet to put the lines together. The poet however will ask you questions to allow him or her have a virtual picture of the person you are composing the poem for. This will enable him or her to use the right words.
A ‘shout out’ of love on air
How beautiful will it sound when your spouse hears your words of love or appreciation to him or her on radio? Have you ever tried it? If not, why not? You can also have his or her favorite love song played right after it. You should however make sure your spouse will be listening live to it. Radio stations always have programs specially scheduled for shout out to loved ones. You can take advantage of any of them.
Weekend Getaway
You can organize a surprise weekend getaway for the both of you. This should include the watching of his or her favorite movies. You can save up for this. It can be planned over a period of time.
A surprise in the workplace
You can show up with surprises in his or her place of work. This can be done with the knowledge of his or her colleague at workplace so it can be a smooth one.
This can be a bouquet of flowers if your wife loves sir. It could be his favorite lunch sent to his office.
Breakfast in bed
How many times have you arranged breakfast in bed for your spouse? Your spouse deserves a special treat every now and then. A surprise breakfast in bed will go a long way once in a while. Those are some little spices that make a great difference in our marriages.
You need to be specially thinking of someone to prepare breakfast for him or her. It means you planned and woke up early to make it happen, it goes along way.

You can arrange a special rendition by your spouse’s favorite artiste at home. This will sweep your spouse off his or her feet. This could be on his or her birthday or during your anniversary. This is if you can afford it.
A Surprise Party
What about arranging a surprise party during his or her birthday or your anniversary? What kind of celebration has your ever dreamt of? You can make it happen if you plan towards it.
